LAME. my holiday so far: LAME. nothing to do. well, I actually have things to do, but I'm just dodging it. hahaha. I just don't want to do serious things during my holiday, okay. it's called holiday. for me, it's time to relax, do nothing in particular, etc etc. my perfect holiday is: I'm at a beach, laying on the sand, bathing myself with the sunshine, hearing the crashing waves, feeling the blowing coastal wind. or, I'm going somewhere ALONE. literally alone, without my parents' supervision, without friends who come along. I planned to go to Bangkok for a month; unfortunately, I can't. I still have a course which I have to attend.
last Monday (8/7), I made a tiramisu cake. as an amateur baker, please expect a fail one. hahaha. it's not fail, but didn't look good. it didn't look like as I expected. so I regard it as fail cake. hahaha. here's it!
|pardon my low quality photo|
it's delicious though. the garnish is perfect; not too sweet, not too plain, not too bitter. the cake was..... too spongy and dry. I divided the cake only into two layers, that's why it's dry. and I made too little garnish. or maybe it's me who eats much garnish. hahahaha!
Tuesday was not fine. too many issues happened in one day. let it be a lesson and a valuable experience for me.
today was..... AWESOME. woke up at 8, went back to sleep until 11-12ish, got my lunch (skipped breakfast, of course), watched Detective Conan The Movie (#13: The Raven Chaser), watched youtube videos (still watching those guys' videos), read Naruto (I skipped 3-week chapters), and baked sweet potato cake. no worry, my mom helped me on this one. it's less chaotic, more delicious, more trusted, less poisonous. hahaha. jk. none of my cooking is poisonous. here's the cake:
|sorry no decoration|
oh btw, should I post more during holiday? or it's no need as people are spending holiday outdoor so less time to read my posts(?)
so, how's your holiday so far? please do share with me. maybe your holiday is good to be added as my holiday reference ;)
not to forget, have a great Ramadan to all my Muslim friends. wish you a joyous Iftar with happiness, health, and success always! :D
