according to Indonesian representative at IASP, suicide case in Indonesia is still considered low than other Asian countries. with the victims who were still in productive age range of 15-29, WHO claimed that suicide prevalence in Indonesia has reached 3.7 for every 100,000 citizens. with the total of 258 million citizens, it means there are 10,000 suicide case in Indonesia every year or one person every hour.

HI GUYS!! welcome to the end of World Suicide Prevention Week 2016. as we all know, World Suicide Prevention Day falls on 10 September; yesterday. since suicide is not categorized as 'medical emergency and serious mental health' in Indonesia, the awareness/campaign is still low.

I might not know or have someone who is dealing with mental health issue. but it has been my main concern for years. if you are one of them, please get help immediately. talk to your most trusted person, or someone/stranger who you don't know at all, or call Indonesia suicide hotline at 500-454; anyone you think you can get comfortable with. you can talk to me anytime too! just leave it on the comment section :)

I took part on this year WSPD. joining one of many wonderful organizations in the world, TWLOHA, I posted this:

I am not one who tries to get numbers of like/love. but I hope people out there get inspired of what I wrote. I hope it's spreading sporadically :)

you might or might not know that the founder of TWLOHA, Jamie Tworkowski, wrote a book called If You Feel Too Much: Thoughts on Things Found and Lost and Hoped For. I read it a few months ago. the content is amazing. you might wanna read it too!

guys, let's build a circle by holding hands; offer support sincerely to anyone who needs us. don't let mental health issue take over our life. start to love yourself first, because you are enough; always keep fighting and please stick in mind that you are not alone. hope is real. help is every where. love is real.

“We need one another. There’s no reason to judge. People are more fragile than you could possibly imagine.” -Jamie Tworkowski (If You Feel Too Much: Thoughts on Things Found and Lost and Hoped For, 2015)

P.S.: just wanna point out, this post is not paid by anyone and/or any organization; disclaimer.
